Mogami 2524 is an excellent studio and stage instrument cable with an extra inner shielding layer [in the form of a conductive thermoplastic material], resulting in one of the quietest cables of its category. Make sure to strip down the black thermoplastic layer when soldering, or you’ll experience an abnormal low signal output level and/or intermittent signal cut-off. The 2524 has an OD of 6mm – 0.236″ and a nominal capacitance of 130pF/m – 39.7pF/ft. Mogami is famous for unmatched accuracy, excellent noise rejection, and remarkable flexibility.
